BZA principals Steve Brener and Toby Zwikel worked with the Los Angeles Dodgers for a combined 25 years before opening individual PR agencies in 1988 and joining forces in 1990. In October 2005, Brener Zwikel and Associates, Inc. was awarded the PRism Award by the Public Relations Society of America - LA Chapter (PRSA-LA) for campaign materials created for its work with Speedo and the Fastskin II. The PRism Awards recognize outstanding work in the field of public relations in the greater Los Angeles area.
