Greg Ball, Account Executive

Greg Ball joined BZA in June 2006 and has since worked on numerous successful PR campaigns across a wide spectrum of sports. He has helped bring added exposure and positive publicity to clients such as Major League Baseball’s All-Star FanFest, the PGA TOUR’s Deutsche Bank Championship, the LPGA’s Kia Classic, the AVP professional beach volleyball tour, Santa Anita Park and thoroughbred racing’s Breeders’ Cup World Championships, Olympic gold-medal winning gymnast Dominique Dawes and countless professional golf tournaments on the PGA TOUR, the Champions Tour and the LPGA. His experience working with diverse clients – from niche sports to American institutions – and his thorough knowledge of local, national and international media have given him a broad understanding of the PR world that generates unmatched results. A native of Boston, prior to joining BZA Ball spent seven years as a sportswriter with several daily newspapers, covering Major League Baseball, NFL football, Division I NCAA football and basketball, PGA Tour golf and high school sports. He has also worked as a freelance writer for the Associated Press, MLB.com, the Boston Herald, the Providence Journal and numerous other daily, weekly and monthly publications. Ball has a marketing degree from Boston College, and while in college worked for the American Skiing Company and The Country Club (Brookline, Mass.) during the 1999 Ryder Cup.
